Our office participates in mining projects, involving metallic or non-metallic ores, with specific legal and administrative issues. Our professional involvement is related to (i) contractual package (e.g. consortium, partnership, investments) which must be correlated with both the real conditions at the mining site and the requirements of the industrial buyers (ii) administrative and environmental practices, at a local level (e.g. excavation permit, excavation tax, green taxes, access duties), (iii) recruitment and communication ties to local team, (iv) monitoring current legal issues and (v) consultative intervention or/and litigation.

Open Pit Project Magna, Breaza

Mineral:  Serpentinite rock

A project in stages, including financing and cooperation followed by development of open-pit Serpentine exploitation. The end product is delivered to steel plants as natural fire deflector. Our office performed the due diligence, supervised contractual, environmental and local administration practices and elaborated drafts for the contractual package (quarry coop, delivery logistics auto-railway, local licenses and local taxes). Investment of EUR 500,000.

Open Pit Project Vatra Dornei

Mineral: Manganese ore

A joint venture for open-pit exploitation of manganese ore for export mainly. Our office supervises the Mining Perimeter analysis, NAMR documentation status as well as the work methodology set up with supplier-operator by developing the custom made contractual drafts (logistics, auto-railway deliveries); all adjusted as per final client standards and practice. Investment of EUR 500,000.
